About Us

The Raisinville PTO is a nonprofit, volunteer parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians and staff at Raisinville Elementary School. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

The PTO’s mission is to promote open, positive communication and understanding between parents and staff of Raisinville Elementary School. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential.

The PTO provides financial assistance to teachers in their classroom settings, holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, and supports school and family social interaction.

The PTO has provided the school with such things as smart boards for every classroom, a new PA system in the Gymnasium, the new school sign along the road and the water bottle filling station. With plans to add 2 more water bottle filling stations in the future.

The PTO funds busing for school field trips in or to make it more affordable to go on these educational trips.

The PTO also provides fun, safe, family-oriented events for students and their families such as bowling parties, roller skating parties, Scholastic Book Fairs, Movie nights, Family game night, Cookies and Canvas etc.
