Ralph Vold Memorial Golf Tournament

About the Event

For those of you that took part in the original Cattlemen’s tournament, you will notice that the format of “The Ralph” is the same. This tournament follows a unique teaming structure to create balanced competition and an exciting calcutta auction:

Teams are randomly selected based on handicaps to ensure fair and competitive play.

Important note: If you are registering multiple individuals, you are NOT registering as a team.

Those with the lowest handicaps are marked as captains and are drawn the night before the tournament.

Each team consists of five players, with handicaps increasing from the captain to the fifth player.

After captains are drawn, teams are auctioned off in the calcutta on Friday night, adding a strategic and competitive element to the event.

The golf format is a scramble, with teams working together to post the lowest score. This system ensures a level playing field, fosters new connections, and keeps the tournament true to the spirit of competition and camaraderie that Ralph believed in. More detailed rules will be made clear on tournament weekend.

Practice rounds available on May 22nd.

Teams of five with two teams per hole.

Million Dollar Shootout to follow tournament play.
