RHP / AJDL 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic

The teams at Reid's Heritage Properties and the AJDL Development Group have partnered to bring you the 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classicin support of Hopewell Children's Homes

Hopewell Children’s Homes is a not-for-profit registered charity that has served the Guelph-Wellington community for 40 years.  Hopewell’s unique service model offers supported living, respite and recreational services to children, youth, and adults living with a developmental disability.  Our dedicated staff team of over 130 employees, work tirelessly to provide person-centred support in 8 service locations in the Guelph-Wellington region, offering a variety of community based and individualized supports.  Although the majority of our funding comes from the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, we rely on generous donations and grants from the community to enhance our programming and/or to afford items not covered by our Ministry funding.  All of this with the goal of enriching the lives of individuals with a range of physical and developmental disabilities to experience a full life.

Our funding does not allow us to purchase items with a higher price tag – below are a few items we are targeting our fundraising efforts towards.

Roof replacement at our farmhouse in Ariss - $150,000

Full-Size Mobility Vehicle - $100,000

Accessible Minivan -  $60,000

Stage 2 in renovating our newest home on Grange road - $60,000 (includes siding, fence and deck)

Generators (for all locations) - $40,000

Accessible pathway at our farmhouse in Ariss - $15,000

General Donations to the Home Repair and Renovation Fund (This will allow Hopewell to plan and complete crucial repairs needed to keep their homes in top condition)
