2026 Sam Amer Memorial Golf Outing

Please consider joining us in the third annual golf outing in celebration of the life and memory of Sam Amer. Our goal is to continue to bring friends & family together to celebrate Sam's memory in a way he would love to be a part of. Event format is a scramble so golfers of all skill levels are welcome! Golfer registration prior to the registration deadline of 4/14/26 includes player greens fees, self-serve lunch, unlimited drinks throughout the event, closest to the pin contests, long drive contest, putting contest, a buffet dinner, event gift, and an event tee-shirt. After the registration deadline, shirts and gifts may be unavailable. Golfers may register as a single and be grouped into a foursome with other singles or may register in preset foursomes of their choice.

For those who would like to attend and support the event and community but are not interested in playing golf, we welcome you in joining us for dinner and drinks at the clubhouse afterwards, where we'll host a tribute to Sam with the chance to catch up with friends and family, and to participate in live auctions for charity.

All ticket & auction proceeds will go towards the Charter School of Wilmington's athletics fund. This year, the primary goal is to provide the lacrosse team with much-needed replacement helmets. Should we surpass that goal, other athletics teams are to receive upgraded or replaced equipment as well. As many of you know, Sam and his sisters all participated in several of Charter's athletics programs during their time there and are deeply passionate about the times had and relationships formed along the way. The athletics fund is based largely on donations, so events and groups like ours have the ability to make a significant impact on player safety, school pride, and the enjoyment of the athletes, as well as to give back in a small way to the school that gave Sam and his friends and family so much.
