The San Diego Veterans Coalition Description

The San Diego Veterans Coalition (SDVC) was founded in 2009 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in May 2011. It is the premier coordinator in San Diego County working with over 150 unique member and participating organizations, businesses, and government agencies to ‘Build a Grateful Nation one integrated community at a time!’

SDVC has found that collaboration, coordination, and integration is the key to addressing and meeting the needs of Veterans and their Spouses, Families, Significant Others, and Loved Ones through our in-person/virtual hybrid monthly general meeting our four Action Groups. 

SDVC’s four Action Groups meet monthly to share information, identify gaps and needs, develop collaborative projects and measurable outcomes, and then mobilize community organizations to respond and solve them.

Beyond its local presence, SDVC leads and participates in efforts to develop similar responses and efforts throughout California, and other States and Counties across the Nation.
