2nd Annual Darnestown Elementary PTA Golf Charity Tournament

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Darnestown Elementary School PTA Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Comfort Cases and the DES PTA!  Our fundraiser will be hosted at Bretton Woods Golf Course in Darnestown, MD on Monday, May 22, 2023.

IMPACT OF FUNDRAISER
Proceeds will directly impact the Darnestown ES PTA programming, and Comfort Cases’ mission of inspiriting communities to bring dignity and hope to children and youth in foster care.  Donations to our charity golf tournament support:

• Darnestown ES PTA reaching the annual goal of raising $40 per student for the year to provide learning resources, enrichment opportunities, and community building activities.

• Comfort Cases providing children (newborn to age 21) in foster care with a backpack filled with items of comfort and personal care to replace the trash bag youth in foster are often asked to carry in lieu of a suitcase. 

*Comfort Cases, headquartered in Rockville, MD, is a national nonporift founded by a Darnestown ES alumni family.

• Sponsor another golfer to receive a scholarship to participate in the 2nd Annual DES PTA Golf Tournament at Bretton Woods.  All scholarship recipients remain confidential.

TOURNAMENT TICKET PER PARTICIPANT: $185

Inclusive of Bretton Woods Golf Course greens and cart fees; lunch (see menu below) and snacks; winners’ circle prizes; 2nd Annual DES PTA Golf Tournament swag bag.

**Junior golfers participating are expected to uphold golf etiquette on the course and maintain an acceptable pace without undue delay to the tournament.  Junior golfers are also asked to be accompanied by an adult during the tournament at Bretton Woods.

SUPER TICKET BUNDLE (ONLINE SPECIAL): $100 (value of $125) 

Pre-purchase a Super Ticket Bundle with four add-ons.  Your Super Ticket will include: two mulligans, two string it out, and one beat the pro.  **Add-ons will also be available for purchase at the event including unlimited tickets for a mulligan, string it out, or beat the pro (each add-on is $25 per ticket).

RAFFLE TICKETS: $25 EACH

BRETTON WOODS GOLF COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

* DRESS CODE: Proper golf attire is required. (No denim or tee shirts permitted)

* FOOD & BEVERAGE: Food and beverages consumed on Club Property must be purchased through Bretton Woods Resort.

* GOLF EQUIPMENT: Personal golf equipment is required. Should you need a set of golf clubs, please contact us at: DarnestownPTA@gmail.com We will coordinate providing you with a set for use during the tournament.
