The First Annual Spirit Bear Coffee Company Charity Golf Tournament

In loving memory of Paul Biglin

The Spirit Bear Coffee Company Charity Golf Tournament was created to bring people together for a day of connection, community, and purpose — values that are at the heart of who we are.

This inaugural tournament is held in loving memory of Paul Biglin, co-founder and co-president of Spirit Bear Coffee Company. Paul believed deeply in the power of connection — that meaningful conversations, often started over a cup of coffee, could change lives. He led with generosity, compassion, and an open heart, always striving to leave the world better than he found it.

Giving back was central to Paul’s vision and remains a guiding principle of Spirit Bear Coffee Company today. This tournament is one way we honour his legacy by supporting causes that reflect his love for wildlife, community, and Mother Earth.

Who We Are Raising Funds For

Proceeds from the tournament will support three incredible organizations:

  • Northern Lights Wildlife Society, which rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured and orphaned wildlife, including bear cubs of all species. Spirit Bear Coffee Company is committed to supporting their Rescue, Rehab, and Release programs.

  • BC Whales / Ocean Alliance, dedicated to the research, protection, and conservation of whales and ocean ecosystems along the northern coast of British Columbia, while increasing public awareness through education and science-based research.
  • OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society, which focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned raptors, while educating the public about their importance to our ecosystem.

Through this tournament, we aim to support wildlife protection, conservation, and education — causes that reflect Paul Biglin’s belief in responsibility, stewardship, and caring for future generations.

We invite you to join us for a memorable day of golf, connection, and giving back — together, with open minds and open hearts.
