Wachesaw Plantation Club was founded in 1985 as the premier private Country Club on South Carolina’s Hammock Coast. Located in the quaint seaside town of Murrells Inlet, SC. The Club is located in the historic Wachesaw Plantation gated community. 

Crafted by internationally acclaimed Tom Fazio, Wachesaw’s Golf Course was designed to take advantage of the site’s inherent beauty and interesting elevation changes not typically found in the Carolina Low Country. Mike Strantz worked for Fazio at the time and assisted on the project.  The unexpected rolling fairways are thoughtfully designed to weave through the giant oaks strategically placed on the course.  This unique setup provides golfers of varying skill a memorable and challenging, yet enjoyable experience.
