About the Shuswap Cardiac Society:

The Shuswap Cardiac Society is a non-profit offering Cardiac Rehab in the Shuswap region. The society opened its doors to the community November 2024. Since it's opening the Shuswap Cardiac Society has already served 70 people in the Shuswap, spanning from Chase to Revelstoke to Armstrong, with heart related health issues. The number of individuals in need of Cardiac Rehabilitiaion continues to grow at a rapid pace. In the society's first 5 months they have already needed to expand operations to double the capacity due to demand.

The mission of the Society is to provide the Shuswap with evidence-based, high quality, cardiac care. Through our ongoing projects, we aim to improve the quality of life for the residents of the Shuswap through improving health care in our communities.

Donations to the Shuswap Cardiac Society are vital as there is currently no funding from the Provincial Health Authority or Government for the programs we offer. Your support helps us continue to provide high-quality cardiac care to our community. Funds raised from this tournament will go towards expanding our programs, subsidizing program costs for those who cannot afford it, and purchasing essential equipment for exercise and mobility. Your contribution ensures that individuals in the Shuswap region have access to the care and resources they need to improve their heart health and overall well-being.
