The David W. Eidle Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament

David was the best example of what a son, brother, boyfriend, grandson, nephew, cousin or friend could be. David's energy was infectious, and he could light up any room with just a smile or a laugh. He loved everyone he met wholeheartedly, and his loss leaves an enormous void for anyone fortunate enough to know him.

David was born into a family that valued education. He graduated from Masconoment High School and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Hofstra University. He was employed as an Audit Manager at AAFCPAs and had recently become certified as a CPA himself.

In David's memory, we have established the David W. Eidle Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the scholarship fund. An annual scholarship will be given to a deserving Masconomet Regional High School graduating student. In addition, an annual scholarship will be awarded in David's name at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business At Hofstra University.  

We are excited to be awarding the first annual scholarship to a member of the 2023 Masco graduating class. In order to apply for the scholarship, the student had to be a scholar/athlete, preferably a member of the ice hockey program, with an intent to pursue a career in business or accounting.
