Join us for The Mission Golf Tournament, where every swing counts towards making a difference!  Tee up, hit 'em straight and laugh hard, in support of this year's local community programs.

Proceeds to benefit this year’s chosen mission projects at North Presbyterian Church: Northside Elementary Field Trip Fund and the John Kennedy Scholarship Fund.

The Northside Elementary Field Trip Fund provides financial support for field trips that enhance students' education by engaging with real-world learning environments. Approximately 85% of Northside Elementary students are on free and reduced lunch rates. Our aim is to make educational opportunities accessible to students who would typically find these experiences financially out of reach.

Some of experiences include trips to the Interstate Fair connecting to students' science and animal curriculum, Fergusen's Apple Orchard following a unit on trees and the weather, and a day at Niagra Cave after the students have learned about geography and land formations. Often times the largest financial hurdle is the cost of transportation, making each trip about $1,000.

These field trips foster curiosity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation that many Northside students may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.

The John Kennedy Scholarship Fund was created in memory of long time Custodian at North Presbyterian Church, John Kennedy. John both attended and tought at Western Technical College and had great appreciation for his time there. This scholarship is given annually to a student who plans to attend WTC to purse a degree in the trades.
