Golfing T's and C's

NOTE: The entire Tournament playing conditions below, and any other advice and announcements, will be given at the official "Welcome Function, Sunday evening March 2 2025, at our "home base", Scorebirds Resort". We urge you to attend.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

INDIVIDUAL

1. 1. The tournament shall be run by an Organising Committee ("The OC") whose decisions on any and all tournament matters are final and binding.
   2. The tournament shall be played under the USGA Rules of Golf, and in accordance with any local rules set by the Pradera Verde Golf Club
   3. The tournament shall be set over three days of 18-hole competition, totaling 54 holes of play
   4. The Tournament is divided into two Divisions "A" and "B" with registered players being advised of their designated division at the Welcome Function
   5. The Scoring method shall be Stableford format, recorded either on signed cards or by use of the specially designed smartphone app downloadable from both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store
   6. Each player shall use their World Handicap System (WHS), GA, Grint or other official handicap with the lowest of any of them being the designated handicap for you to use for the tournament. EG, Mike Harvey has GA of 11.4 and a Grint of 10.2 so will play off 10.2. Handicaps are taken as it stands at 15 Feb 2025. Should a player not have an official WHS handicap,or other 'recognised handicap' then one will be prescribed by the OC. NOTE: As the Calcutta funds can be substantial, all efforts will be made to ensure a fair and even playing field. Players are requested to be prepared to be open and transparent. Handicap history will be studied. Sandbagging will be challenged and not accepted. Remember, this is an invitational so unfair handicap may affect future invitations.
   7. The playing method shall be 4-ball groups organised by the OC, hitting off the first hole sequentially at times advised by the OC unless we can manage a split tee opportunity
   8. A player's overall tournament finishing score shall be the sum of all Stableford points accumulated over the three rounds of the tournament
   9. Should an individual fail to complete a round, then he is the Stableford points achieved on that day shall be used for that round regardles of holes played.
   10. The overall positions and rankings reported by the OC shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   11. Refund requests shall be considered on merit where a player could not attend or complete the competition due to clearly unforseen curcumstances
   12. Prizes for daily events and overall standings shall be awarded at the presentation evenings, and at the Gala Dinner on the final night

The OC reserves the right to modify any of the playing rules and conditions if it is deemed necessary in the interests of fairness, fun, safety or common sense

There will be a LIV style teams event. Full explanation and set up on Registration night to see what your team is all about.

NOVELTY EVENTS

• Nearest the Pin - Standard rules apply here, with daily prizes for the closest tee shot on a designated par-3 hole. Stay tuned for more details closer to the event
• Super Pin Shoot-out - An additional NTP comp on a specially sponsored hole. Again, stay tuned for more details but looks like a steak sandwich!
