The Record Open V

Hey hey, let's do it again! Another day of fun, sun and friendly competition is on the horizon at The Evans at Canal Shores for the fifth installment of The Record Open charity golf outing.

All participants receive 18 holes of golf with a cart at the newly renovated course at Canal Shores — plus a meal, two drink tickets and chances to win a number of contests, such as lowest group score, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. There will also be a raffle for a chance to take home cash and other prizes.

Check in starts at 10:15 a.m. with tee off at 11 a.m. The format is a scramble, in which the team selects the best shot and plays all balls from that spot. 

The Record North Shore is a nonprofit community newsroom serving Chicago's northern suburbs (from Wilmette through Highland Park — and soon, Skokie).
