Our Mission

The WARM Place is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency that provides peer-support groups for children and their families after the death of a loved one. Founded in 1989, The WARM Place has companioned over 50,000 children and caregivers along their grief journey. Our program, led by trained volunteers, provides a safe environment for children to express feelings and emotions as well as the opportunity to meet with children and families who are experiencing situations similar to their own.

Our mission is to provide year-round grief support services to children ages 3 ½ to 18 and their families, as well as young adults ages 19 to 25, who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Families are never charged a fee for our services, there are no geographical limitations, and no time limits - families are welcome to participate as long as the children are receiving benefit from the program.
