Who is HomeAid?
HomeAid’s mission is to help individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. The organization makes the most significant impact by facilitating housing and construction projects for reputable non-profit organizations serving people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. HomeAid's partners include organizations offering housing and services for families, single mothers, survivors of domestic violence, veterans, individuals recovering from substance abuse, teen moms, and children/adolescents dealing with severe emotional trauma or mental health challenges.
Through a network of builders and trade partners, they help these organizations build, remodel, or repair housing and facilities at a fraction of the cost. This allows them to reinvest more resources into the people they serve. By leveraging their strong relationships within the building industry, they secure in-kind donations of labor and materials, resulting in substantial savings for the non-profit service providers.
