Thomas Roksvold was a dedicated Earth Science Teacher at Pelham Middle School for 23 years where he positively impacted countless students' lives. Tom grew up in Pelham and attended Colonial School, Pelham Junior High School, and Pelham Memorial High School, where he played on the Varsity Football and Varsity Golf teams. Upon graduating from SUNY Potsdam in 1997, Tom returned home to Pelham to begin his first (and only) teaching position at Pelham Middle School. Known for his sarcastic humor and biting wisecracks, Tom was an important part of the Pelham Middle School community, where he also coached the PMHS football and golf teams.

Tom was also a devoted husband and father. He married the love of his life, Teresa Palumbo, in October 2000, and together they lived in Pelham, in Tom's childhood home. There, they raised their daughter Kristina, now a junior at SUNY Buffalo, and son Erik, currently a senior at PMHS. Tom was also an active parishioner at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in New Rochelle, where he was President of the Church Council. Tom also loved to cook and volunteered his time to prepare meals for Hope Community Services, a local food bank.

Unfortunately, Tom passed away on August 2019 at the age of 46 while on his annual golf trip with friends. Tom's family and friends have planned this golf outing in his honor to celebrate his life, and all proceeds will go to help defray the cost of Kristina and Erik's educational expenses. The Roksvold family is extremely grateful to the Pelham community for it's outpouring of support during this difficult time.
