YellowBird Golf 2021 - Sponsored by Travelweek

In 2020, in a year that would have marked its 20th anniversary, the Yellowbird Charity Golf Classic was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Over the years the Yellowbird Charity Golf Classic has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of infrastructure projects benefitting children in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Given the worthiness of that cause, and working within the safety protocols needed during these (hopefully waning) days of COVID-19, we’re working hard to make sure that a streamlined version of the 2021 Yellowbird Charity Golf Classic still takes place.

With that goal, ClubLink has agreed to amend its contract with the Yellowbird Foundation to replace the usual tournament with a simple day of golf, limited to 60 golfers, with no other activities (i.e.no breakfast, no lunch, no cocktail reception, no activities on the golf course).

It will be a staggered start with foursomes starting on hole #1 every 12 minutes.  Schedule will be prepared in advance with starts between 8 and 11am. 

Knowing that it has been a tough year for everyone, Travelweek will take on full sponsorship responsibilities, alongside Today’s Bride, Destination Weddings and ENOY Networks.
