Our 4th Annual Tournament raised $25,000 for Stella's Place

~ thanks to all who contributed to this success ~

A message from Stella’s Place:

To everyone who participated in or contributed to the 4th Annual Breana McGroarty Charity Golf Tournament, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity, great energy and support! This is the third year in a row that proceeds from the tournament will be designated to the renovation of our new building - an investment of over $100,000 that you have contributed to and that will change the lives of hundreds of young adults who will start pouring into the building any day now and reinvigorate our community. With final inspections currently underway, we anticipate to have an occupancy permit for our new home by the end of this month.

We recently had the opportunity to tour the building with two of our Young Adult Council members and capture their first reactions  - one of them was heavily involved in the co-design process of the building, the other a former program participant. We hope this little video clip will convey some of the excitement, anticipation and immense gratitude we all feel for what you've helped make possible.

Thanks again for hitting the green for Stella's Place and our young adults!

Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of Young Adult Mental Health and Stella's Place.

TOGETHER WE CAN BE THE CHANGE.

Stella's Place https://stellasplace.ca/ provides free mental health services for young adults ages 16 to 29. They have a holistic menu of programs, including peer support, clinical services, employment support, wellness, art and recovery programs. They work to help young adults learn skills, build community and be empowered to manage their own mental health. They fill the voids by offering free programs that are accessible immediately.  As a result, emergency department visits and in patient hospital stays reduce significantly.
