About Us

The Lifting As We Climb Foundation, is a non-profit, tax-exempt, publicly supported 509(a)(2) charitable organization.  We established our foundation on May 5, 2022, for the expressed purpose of supporting the Chi Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and raising and distributing funds for purpose of carrying out charitable endeavors, scholarships and community initiatives.

The Board of Directors is comprised of members of the Chi Iota Chapter who serve on a voluntary. Board members provide all administrative duties for the foundation on a voluntary basis and act independently from Chi Iota Chapter.   

The Lifting as we Climb Foundation is a 509(a)(2) non-profit public charity organization.  Donors who give to a public charity can deduct up to 60% of their adjusted gross income (AGI) from their annual taxes.
