Greg was a wonderful son, husband, father, and friend to many and he lived a mission of “igniting passion to transform lives” in countless ways. The scholarships Greg received as a student at UC made a huge impact on his life. The relationships he made at UC with friends, faculty, staff and alumni shaped who he was. Some amazing people at UC helped mentor, guide and teach Greg about business, relationships and dealing with people. All great skills that helped him throughout his life. His leadership and passion for UC was a natural bridge for alumni and donors of multiple generations to the alma mater.
As a former student-athlete, he championed the cause of Bearcats Athletics while making a difference in the lives of so many fellow alumni, coaches, staff, and students. Reflecting the decades of service, Greg was a recipient of the Department of Athletics’ highest honor, being inducted into the Order of the Black Blazer. Greg was an active member of Sigma Sigma Men's honorary and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a principle founder in the Red Black and Hard Nines investment club.
Greg translated his business education from UC’s Lindner College of Business and the Harvard Business School into an illustrious career in the energy industry. Greg was an innovative business leader with multiple executive roles at Duke Energy, Leeward Renewable Energy, and ESG Renewables. Greg's passion for his family, friends, Alma Mater and for life will be terribly missed but will live on in all of us. We dedicate our time and efforts to make sure his passion and dream lives on.
