About Us

Lending a Hand Society was established to provide resources that accelerate positive community change, focusing on children and youth-based needs. The directors of PHL Capital Corp. established Lending a Hand Society in 2015.

They wanted to establish a platform which they could give back using philanthropic efforts in the communities they live and do business in. They strongly believe in focusing on charities that support at-risk children & youth, giving them the best chance at success. In selecting charities, they ensure that they align with our values, and that our donations most effectively are applied towards the cause.

In 2024, we raised $84,200 for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Lending A Hand uses an endowment structure as it is best suited to our long-term goal of sustained giving. In addition, all donations to Lending a Hand are eligible for tax receipts. https://www.lendingahandsociety.com/
