OC Firefighters wants to make this as easy for you as possible. Below are some considerations for an easy and smooth on the course setup. These are just guidelines, IF you have experience and have suggestions, shoot me an email @ thonenguyen@ocfirefighters.org. Thank you. 

WHAT TO BRING | Be prepared. Stand out on the course. You'll need a Canopy, table, chairs, signs of your business, games to play with participants, live music, small gifts, snacks, drinks and get ready to share your products/services with participants. Brand recognition is vital at these events, so make a long lasting impact during the event. IF you need tables/chairs, let us know so we can coordinate with the golf course. 

RAFFLE ITEMS | Please bring raffle items the day of the event to bring traffic to your table and further market your business. Once you check in at the registration table, let them know that you have raffle items. Clearly mark your business name somewhere on the item so we know who to give credit to! We will pass on these raffle items at the banquet. (Examples: Hat/Shirt Bundle, gift cards, golf balls, etc. use your imagination).

HOLE ASSIGNMENTS | You will be emailed directly with your hole assignment 3 weeks prior to the event date. This space is yours, use your imagination to make it fun and be creative. Feel free to provide beverages (i.e. water, gatorade, soda, beer, shots etc.) & snacks (chips, granola bars, crackers, etc.). Bring your own cooler with ice if needed.
 

    


PARKING | As you enter the gate to the course, continue straight ahead until you see our registration tent. This is where you can park to unload bulky and heavy items. Ask an event volunteer for assistance with your items. Make sure you inform our Registration staff and Check-In. Plan on arriving early. 

Once you’ve unloaded your equipment and products, please park as far away as possible. We want to leave the closest parking spots for our participants. Plus country club members still have access to the restaurants and club house.

ARRIVAL & SETUP | Setup starts at 7 AM. It is highly recommended you arrive at this time to avoid stress and last minute scramble. Additionally, registration starts at 8:30 am and foot traffic will make it more challenging for you. Please plan on arriving early to give you ample time for setup and travel time to your hole. If you need manpower, ask for event volunteers to assist. We are more than willing to help.

Once you arrive, look for the Registration tent so they can check you in and direct you to your hole. We will have a team to help you transport your equipment/products to your hole. We will arrange pickup at the end of the round. 

**Please note that there are NO electrical outlets on the tee boxes**

RESTROOMS | Restrooms are located at the clubhouse, between holes #4 & #5 and between holes #14 & #15. IF you need to use the restroom, call or flag down a volunteer for assistance, they'll be more than willing to help. 

GUEST/ATTENDEES | If you would like to attend the Dinner Banquet you need to purchase Dinner Tickets ASAP. Please note that we will be “Sold Out” and we are planning on having over 150 attendees for the  dinner Banquet.

ALCOHOL DISTRIBUTION | If you are planning to donate your beverages for the event, do so before the event @ our office in Tustin. Contact the office at 949-486-3631 to make arrangements. If you purchased a sponsorship package with a table setup at a tee box, bring your beverages with you on the day of. Bring your own tents, tables, chairs, coolers, ice and beverages. Make it inviting for participants to want to learn about your business. Provide games, gifts, snacks, business cards etc.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION | If you are planning to provide food for the event, contact our office at 949-486-3631 to make arrangements. If you purchased a sponsorship package with a location to setup at a tee box, provide everything the day of event. It could be difficult to get larger food trucks out to certain parts of the course. We will let you know and make arrangements on where best to place you.

PRODUCTS/SERVICES DISTRIBUTION | If you purchased a sponsorship package with a table setup at a tee box, display your materials at your own discretion. Bring your own tents, tables, chairs, coolers, ice and beverages. Make it inviting for participants to want to learn about your products/services your business offers. Provide games, gifts, snacks, business cards etc. IF you need assistance with tables/chairs/ice, let us know in advance.

CLEAN-UP | At roughly 3:45pm is when the last few groups will end on your tee box. Ask how many holes they have left to play and that should be an indicator to start cleaning up and getting your equipment/products/food/drinks ready for pickup. Make arrangement with our volunteers to provide pickup at your assigned hole. Then, let's have some cocktails and dinner at the clubhouse. 

ON COURSE EMERGENCIES | IF there is a medical emergency, call our staff so we can send Paramedics to your location. IF it's a life threatening injury, activate 911, then call our volunteer so we can direct First Responders to your location.
