Welcome to PAR 4 THE CURE 2025!
Since its inception in 2021, PAR 4 THE CURE has raised nearly $400,000 in support of metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research — a staggering achievement made possible by your tremendous generosity and the unwavering support of The Cancer Couch Foundation.
Through a powerful matching commitment, every dollar raised has been doubled and directed in full to the world-renowned research labs at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, The Cancer Couch Foundation deepens its impact through a newly established and exclusive partnership with MSK, reaffirming its critical role in accelerating life-extending breakthroughs.
PAR 4 THE CURE exists to fund cutting-edge research exclusively focused on Metastatic Breast Cancer — the only stage of breast cancer that is currently incurable. While breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women — often without any family history — roughly 30% of those diagnosed at early stages will eventually face a Stage IV recurrence. Others receive a Stage IV diagnosis from the outset, meaning the cancer has already spread to vital organs such as the brain, liver, lungs, or bones.
For those living with MBC, treatment is lifelong. Over time, the disease often develops resistance to available therapies, making continued, targeted research not just urgent — but essential. And yet, less than 5% of all breast cancer research funding is dedicated to MBC.
This is why we golf.
Each year, we strive to elevate our mission, and our 5th Annual PAR 4 THE CURE promises to be the most ambitious and impactful yet. This event is more than a tournament — it’s a movement. A stand for every mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, and father affected by this disease. A declaration that progress is possible — and that together, we will forge it.
All proceeds benefit The Cancer Couch Foundation, founded by the late Dr. Rebecca Timlin-Scalera — a neuropsychologist, advocate, and MBC patient who dedicated her life to changing the trajectory of this disease. Every dollar you contribute is anonymously matched, and 100% of matched funds go directly to research at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Together, we are changing the future of breast cancer.
