Tournament Rules

RULES

 

 

1. 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Shotgun Start.

 

2. Play will be a 5-person Scramble. Each player tees off on the hole and the best shot is selected. The other players then move their balls to this position and hit from there. Continue in this fashion through the putting of the ball. Do not finish a short putt out until everyone has putted the putt. Every one must tee off on every hole. Mark down the team score and the number of points for that score on the scorecard. Scoring will be as follows:

Bogie      =             1 point

Par         =             2 points

Birdie      =             4 points

Eagle      =             8 points

 

3. Men will play the blue tees on the first nine holes and the white tees on the second nine. Ladies will play the red tees on the first nine holes and the yellow tees on the second nine. Seniors (60+) will play the green tees.

 

4. Each player’s tee shot must be used twice during the round.

 

5. Course boundaries and rules will be observed as stated on scorecard.

 

6. Ball may be dropped within one club length and then bumped between tee and green. Through the green, the ball must be played from where it lies. (The one club length does not allow players to drop from rough to fairway, from hazard to in play, or from sand trap to grass).

 

7. Tiebreakers will be determined by scorecard playoff.
