Team Composition - Most registered players have already organized themselves into 3 or 4-person teams.  All individual registrants shall be assigned to a team with an available spot.  All teams with less than 4 players should expect to have additional players assigned.  If you know a registered player and wish to be assigned to their team, please contact us at tai.cfl.golf@gmail.com prior to the date of the tournament.  We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate individual requests.

The Pace of Play:  The pace for the tournament is 4:30.  Please keep pace with the group ahead of you  The position of the group behind you is not relevant.  If you fall 1 hole behind the groups in front of you, we will ask you to speed up once.  The second time your team must skip a hole.

Putting contest: For an entry fee of $10, paid at the registration desk at check-in, players can participate in our putting contest offering a $5,000 prize to the highest qualifier to sink the final prize putt.  The contest will occur in two phases.

-- Qualifying phase: This phase will take place on a designated spot on the practice greens near the staging area.  Players who purchase an entry fee can attempt a qualifying putt while transiting from Hole 7 to Hole 8.   Qualifying putts will be rank-ordered by means of measuring closest to the hole.  All qualifying putts that sink will automatically tie for first.  If no qualifying putts sink, then the closest to the hole will qualify for the final prize putt.  If more than one contestant sinks a qualifying putt, then they will face off in a tie-breaker round of closest to the hole putts until a top qualifier emerges.  The top qualifier will move on to attempt the final putt.  The top 3 qualifiers will win consolation prizes.

-- Final Putt phase: The top qualifier will attempt a 50 ft putt from another spot, aiming for another hole on the practice green.  This final putt will have no practice attempts.  If the top qualifier sinks the final putt, he or she will win the $5,000 cash prize.
