 Hole 1

      Par 4 

                                                       Even though the fairway is trapped both right and left, the landing area is very generous. The smart way to play this opening hole is to play safe to the centre of the fairway. From here a short iron to a generous green divided into three distinct pin positions will see a par score to start the round.

     Hole 2

       Par 3

               A beautiful short par 3. Many players will be deceived by the bunkers across the front and will play one club short. The green is divided into two sections by a strong ridge running parallel to the line of play through the centre of the green. A tee shot to the wrong side of the green is definitely three putt territory.

Hole 3

Par   4 

                  At only 302 metres in length off the back tees, the 3rd is a real challenging golf hole. The ideal tee shot will carry across the corner of the creek to a generous landing area short of the green. A short wedge to the green and two putts is all that is required for a par. However, be warned that the green hides many dangers. With four distinct pin positions and surrounded by bunkers this green will severely test all but an accurate approach. Those players feeling courageous can go for the green in one.

    Hole 4

    Par 4

A very strong par 4. Accuracy is required off the tee to the narrow fairway through the trees. Bunkers short right and deep grassy hollows short left of the green will put a premium on the long iron approach shot.

Hole 5

Par 5

        A good tee shot over the right side bunker is essential to have any chance of getting home for two. From the drive, the player has the option of laying up short of the creek or carrying the creek to a landing area just short of the green. The green is quite heavily contoured and guarded by a large bunker on the right side approach.

     Hole 6

     Par 3

     This will be one of the most memorable golf holes at Twin Creeks. From the back tee, a long accurate iron is required to play through a narrow opening amongst the trees, across the creek to the green. The left side pin placement will be very difficult as it is guarded both front and rear by bunkers. The safe option is to play to the centre of the green.

                    Hole 7 

                   Par 4

            It may only measure 346 metres from the back tees but being uphill and with a narrow driving area, this par 4 will test all levels of golf. For the best approach, attack the pin from the left side fairway. This will provide the player with more green to work with and a better chance of an uphill putt.

              Hole 8

              Par  4

                          At 411 metres in length, this par 4 will be one of the strongest golf holes on the course. A strong tee shot over the left side fairway traps will give the most ideal approach to the green. Players playing away from these traps and landing on the right side fairway will be faced with a very difficult long, uphill approach to an angled green guarded by hazards.

Hole 9

Par  5

           A very strong golf hole to finish the front nine. The ideal tee shot will take on the inside left bunker and land to the left side fairway. From here the golfer is faced with a number of choices. Strong players will play a very long shot over the hazards to the green. Those not feeling so confident will either layup short of the fairway bunkers or carry these same fairway traps to a layup area just short of the green. The green may be large but the contours and greenside traps will test all approaches.

Hole 10

Par 4

A stern test of golf for the start to the second nine. The ideal tee shot should take on the left side bunkers. Be careful not to go through the fairway and into the bunkers on the outside of the dogleg as a long bunker shot is required to the green. Take care when approaching the back left pin position as the green slopes away steeply off the back.

Hole 11

Par 5

At 521 metres in length, and given the tightness around the green, this long par five will play as a three shotter for all but the strongest players. A good drive to the right side fairway will give you the choice of either laying up short of the wetland or playing long towards the end of the fairway at the second landing area. A pinpoint accurate approach is required to a raised green surrounded by deep bunkers.

Hole 12

Par 4 

A beautiful short par 4. Play the hole safely by hitting the tee shot to the left side fairway. Confident players will play a long drive to the right side fairway. The green has a gentle mound in the centre that clearly divides the green into three distinct pin positions. These tricky contours and the greenside traps will ensure that this golf hole will play with more difficulty than it looks.

Hole 13

Par 4

A middle length par 4 that places a premium on the accuracy of the drive. The landing area is heavily guarded with bunkers on both sides, short and beyond the landing zone. A good drive will be rewarded with a short iron approach to a well guarded green.

Hole 14

Par 3

 A testing par 3 across a gully to a green situated on a ridge. Even though the green is quite large, accuracy will be required to hit one of the three pin positions. Be careful when the pin is at the back left as this will require a very testing tee shot.

Hole 15

Par 5

        A long and testing 525 metre par 5. Even though this measures almost the same length as the par five 11th, this hole will play very differently. Carved uphill through the remnant forest the real test will be on accuracy as the adjoining timber will swallow up any errant shot. Be careful when the pin is at the rear as the contours of the green slope away sharply.

         Hole 16

         Par 4

                   This is arguably the most difficult golf hole on the course. It is very long and with water on the right for almost the full length of the golf hole. The green is guarded to the right by a bunker and to the left by a large tree. A par here will be well deserved.

                           Hole 17

                           Par  3

                                       With water to the left and bunkers to the front and back, this 163 metre par 3 will be a very strong test of golf to players of all levels. A gentle ridge running through the green from front to back will place an even higher premium on the tee shot.

                                  Hole 18

                                  Par 4

                                          The 18th hole is a great way to finish the round. To have any chance of a birdie, the tee shot must play long and to the left side of the fairway adjacent to the water. Even from here a long accurate iron is required to the lakeside green. Players not feeling confident are advised to lay up for a short pitch home to the green. There will definitely be more bogeys than birdies on this hole.
